The students of the Romanian-American University accommodated at the hostel in 1B Expozitiei Blvd. can benefit from permanent internet link, with unrestricted traffic for a monthly fee approved by the Senate, paid in RON, at the BNR currency exchange valid that day.

The users of this service benefit from the following conditions:

internet link through a channel of at least 1 Gbps - it is the bandwidth shared by everybody, but this is the guaranteed minimum, under which the connection never goes, most of the time being above it.

OBSERVATIONS

The internet link in the campus supposes the physical connection to the UTP plugging device on the location, the other equipment necessary for the connection - necessary in the beneficiary’s location - are exclusively in his care (e.g. network cable from the connection plug, network card and so on).

The user must respect the connection architecture under the shape requested by the standard of the Romanian-American University (Ethernet 10/100 Mbps and the automatic setup of IP and DNS by the dedicated server).

In case the user is disconnected for causes that have to do with not fulfilling his obligations, the term for reconnection is at most 48 hours from the moment of the remediation.
