Student Elections 2020

BA and MA students of RAU are invited to apply in order to represent their colleagues in the RAU Senate and the School Councils.

All information required to candidate are to be found in the "Elections Methodology - for electing student representatives within the framework of the Romanian-American University management structures", approved by the RAU Senate in the meeting of 18.12.2019.



Applications for becoming a student representative in the RAU management structures are individual.
Applications require a CANDIDATE FOLDER, sent electronically to [email protected], comprising:

1. Declaration of Intent [RO] (Annex 2 din METHODOLOGY), signed by hand, registered at the RAU Registrar and scanned;
2. Curriculum Vitae [RO] (European form - Annex 3 din METHODOLOGY) - signed on each page and scanned;
3. A color photo (size 3/4 cm), in electronic form;
4. Copy (scan) of the ID card or, in case the candidate does not have an ID card, the passport or any other official document serving the same purpose. In case of name changing, also add copies of the relevant documents - marriage certificate or legal proof of name changing.

Deadline for applications: 23.01.2020.

Responsibility for the election process falls on the Central Elections Bureau of Students, which can be contacted at [email protected]. Its members list can be found at Annex 4 [RO] of the methodology; powers of the CEBS, as well as of its President, are mentioned inside the methodology at art.21, respectively art.22.
