Way to success for women, ed.VII

The Romanian-American University has the pleasure to invite you to attend, on Thursday, April 12, from 11.30, inside the Senate Hall, the VIIth edition of the Way to success for women event.

The event aims to offer feminine models for the young, models which can help them choosing their own way to professional and personal fulfillment.

Creativity Workshop

The School of Management-Marketing of the Romanian-American University has the pleasure to invite you to attend the workshop entitled Creativity Workshop.

The workshop will be the first step for students aged between 18 and 23 who want to attend to the Romania creativity competition and qualify for Cannes Lions, one of the most prestigious festival for creativity in marketing communication.
The workshop is organized in partnership with Roger Hatchuel Academy and has as guest creative speaker Teodora Migdalovici, Cannes Lions Creativity Ambassador in Romania.

The event will take place on the 12th of April 2018, starting with 15:00 hours, in the Senate Hall, 1st floor, C Building, at the Romanian-American University.

International Summer School at SeoulTech University (South Korea) - 2018

Program dates: July 16th - 27th, (Check-in: July 14th / Check-out: July 28th, no early leaving allowed)
Location: Seoul National University of Science & Technology, Seoul, South Korea
Official language of the Summer School: English

Students from the Romanian-American University can benefit from scholarships offered by the SeoulTech University.
The scholarship covers: tuition fee, dormitory fee, meals, field trips and airport pick-up service.
The students will be responsible for their own airfare, insurance and personal expenses.

    Digital Transformation Forum, Governance x Watchdogs

    UPDATE - Press Release

    On behalf of the Digital Communication Network (DCN), World Learning and the Romanian-American University (RAU) we would like to officially invite you to attend the Digital Transformation Forum, Governance x Watchdogs (Bucharest, May 3-4, 2018). The forum will be held at the Romanian-American University, (bd. Expozitiei nr.1B, sector 1, Bucuresti - Aula Magna).

    The Digital Transformation Forum is focusing on ways digital information technologies are contributing to better governance but also to the work of media and civil society watchdogs, making sure that policies and their implementation serve the people. Government representatives, journalists, civil society experts, and communication professionals will interact with peers attending from over 30 countries for 2 days of sessions, focusing on more efficient and honest governments, effective media and civic activism.

    Speakers from the U.S. come from prestigious organizations such as CNN, Mother Jones, Poynter Institute, Politifact, and PeaceTech Exchanges. Regional experts include DigitalFreedomLab from Belarus, the Estonian Information System Authority, the Italian Institute for Social Assistance, Kloop social media in Kyrgyzstan, TechSoup from Poland, the Serbian Justice Department, Transparency International Slovakia, Mykolayiv Center for Investigative Reporting in Ukraine, South and Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance and many others.

    Participants will explore issues such as digital outreach strategies, tools for government transparency and accountability, truth seeking instruments, e-government programs, open data, strategic plans for social media, Internet governance, anti-corruption practices, and mobile and participatory journalism, among others.

    The event will be held in English but instant translation in Romanian is available (just pickup a wireless headset from the entrance).
    Every day of the conference participants are encouraged to relate and connect during the coffee breaks and the lunches offered by the organizers.

    Faculty, students, journalists and public servants have free entrance.

    In order to better correlate the education offer with the requirements of the labor market, as well as for creating a tangible interactive environment, the Romanian-American University organizes the jobs and internships fair RAU JOB FAIR, V-th edition.

    The fair will take place on April 25, 2018, between 10:00 - 17:00, inside the RAU main lobby (Bd. Expozitiei, nr.1B, sector 1, Bucuresti, B Building, Ground Floor, ).
    The event comprises recruitment and selection activities at the participants stands, which will be placed inside the university's main lobby.

    Amphitheater 1 - Woodrow Wilson

    The Romanian-American University has the pleasure to invite you on April 24, 2018, in the Aula Magna, from 15:00, on the occasion of the "President Woodrow Wilsonís Fourteen Points and Their Importance for Romania" event.

    The event is part of the 1918 Great Union Centennial festivities and has as special guests representatives of the US Embassy in Bucharest, Royal House of Romania and the Romanian Presidency.

    On this occasion, starting with April 24 of 2018, the"Amphitheater 1" of the RAU will bear the name of "Woodrow Wilson Amphitheater".
    Also in the same series, we invite you to the opening of "The Centennial of a Partnership: The First American Mission to Romania and the American Red Cross Contribution During the First World War" exhibit (Central Lobby, B Building).
    Moot Court Competition on Commercial Law - 2018

    On May 3, 2018, at the la 2nd District Courthouse - Bucharest, we will have the internal stage of the Moot Court Competition on Commercial Law - MCC Commercial Law - 2018.
    The best students of the RAU's School of Law will participate at the inter-university stage of the competition, on May 19, 2018 - at the Bucharest Court of Appeal.

    We simulate real trials, in real courts! Students become lawyers and judges. Workin, learning, fun and unforgettable memories! :)
