A FACULTY THAT MEETS THE NEEDS OF ROMANIA'S EURO- ATLANTIC INTEGRATION
The Law School was set up as part of the Romanian-American University in 1991, being accredited according to the Act no.274/15th May 2002.
The total number of the students attending this faculty is of 1,624 among which 945 are daily attendance students and 679 low attendance students.
The Law School prepares specialists in the legal field, able to contribute to the democratic state of law and the integration of our country in the Euro-Atlantic structures.
Conceived as an alternative to the public high education, it presents the following particularities:
- it comprises in the educational plans some subjects of studies that are not in the structure of the public legal education, such as: Legal marketing, Comparative constitutional law, History of the American Law, USA’s political and administrative institutions, American civilization and culture;
- it promotes English as a subject of study and an instrument of education and debate for the subjects of study, lectures and seminars;
- it organizes practice activities for the students within the legal clinics, through solving cases, drawing up court papers, simulating trials;
- it tries to match the study process in the Law School with that in the European and American education.
