As a result of being accredited according to Act No.274 from 15 may 2002, the
Romanian-American University has set up a Department of Postgraduate Education. On a first stage there is an activity of
Master according to the economic or legal nature of the faculty.
Starting with 2002 there are the following master specializations:
- Financial banking Management
- Business Law
- Marketing
- Commercial Business Management
- Financial fiscal Control
- Economic IT
- Economy of services in tourism.
From the 01st of October 2004, on the request of several graduates of the Romanian-American University and other high
education institutions there will be two more specializations for the master activity:
- American economic and legal studies
- European economic integration.
The master activity is organized at high qualitative standards, having a prestigious teaching stuff, from the country and
abroad.
The modern Campus just opened also offer optimum conditions in terms od endowments, equipments and study materials at
the library.
The master activity has the same calendar activity as that of the students. All the masters have a
3 semesters
duration. for the ongoing year and will have
4 semesters for the
Bologna type studies.
The sessions of exams take place in January- February and in June. Each session comprises
3 - 4 exams. There is also a
session of failed exams and credits.
At the end of the 3 semesters there is a
Dissertation Exam, consisting in a two weeks stage for the preparation of the
paper and an exam before a specialized commission.
The master graduates receive a
diploma certified by the Minister of Education and Research.
Through the organization of the master, the Romanian-American University has anticipated the provisions of the Process of
Bologna concerning the organization of postgraduate studies, as a basic component of the university education. Thus, the
Romanian-American University has taken the first steps in the preparation of the highly qualified work force necessary for the
integration in the European Union.
