  • Starting October 2006, 52 students are taking beginer and intermediate japanese language classes. The number of those who are interested in the course is much higher, but for reasons of high quality and efficiency, the number is held under 20/class. We are providing specialized teaching staff (mrs. Saori Hayashi, native japanese speaker, and mr. Bogdan Opreanu - majoring Japanese language and culture). We are also providing hi-tech teaching materials, and latest adult teaching methods. For all Japanese language students the classes are availeble on classic an IT support.
  • For those interested in Japanese Economy we have already organized, with the support of Japanese Embassy, the lecture "Japan's Economy in the context of Asia", held by mr. Shujiro Urata, Ph. D. from Waseda University, Tokyo.
  • Series of conferences on "Japan's Economy in the context of globalization":
    - The place of Japan in word economy - F. Bonciu, Ph. D.
    - "Modern management techniques used by Japanese companies" - F. Bonciu, Ph. D.
    - "JETRO's rolein promoting Japanese exports and investments", held by mrs. Iustina Lutan, member of "Romanian Agency for Foreing Investement"
  • In september 2006 a visiting group of japanese proffesors from Kobe University (including mr. Hiromasa Kubo, president of EU Institute in Japan) have met proffesors from Romanian American University. The discutions have aimed future colaboration between Romanian Japanese Center and similar entities in Japan;
  • We have puted together, with the support of JTI, a specialized library at the Centre. Among the availeble titles: "The Japanese Economy" by David Flath, Oxford University Press, 2005, "The Political Economy of the Japanese Financial Big Bang" - Tetsuro Toya, Oxford University Press, 2006, "Japan's International Relations" - Glenn Hook, Oxford University Press, 2005.
